What. A. Weekend!

Progression of the day. Really attractive guy with Speedo competing in the triathlon. I think "Da Bomb" is an appropriate article of clothing and I feel the dude in the yellow had does as well. The second picture is easily the best looking tri team ever assembled. I mean, we just happen to wake up and are more attractive than you, the reader. The third picture, yep, even though we wake up and are attractive, we clean up pretty fantastically. And like beer. (EDIT...I just realized there is no thirde picture. It appears the interwebs have confiscated a couple pictures as punishment for our awesomeness. In situations such as this, I turn to the lyrcists Puff Daddy and Mase, who coincidentally took the following from Matthew Wilder... "ain't nobody gonna break my stride, ain't nobody gonna hold me down..." End of night, following Euchre game, this is what happens, even when you're the Warrior.

I'm not sure there's a better way to start this blog post than with a picture of "Da Bomb" up above. Yes, i forgot to go to the tanner, get the spray-on stuff or walk around the office/outside in my speedo. The sweet, sweet nectar of tan lines were on full display Saturday morning for roughly 1 hour and 38 minutes. But I digress. I decided to head up to Okoboji on Thursday night, so I could have a day off work and hopefully enjoy a nice afternoon on the dock Friday before the crew rolled in and I was forced to spend the rest of the time with people that I do not like, especially dsm911's abs (see pic down below). Lord I need to do some sit-ups. Or maybe a sit-up.

I rolled into Emmetsburg and It's Mister to You and I quickly examined the Aqua Skipper. Little did we know this machine would give us hours of entertainment, frustration and general awesomeness. The video below is one of the first takes and dsm911 would later rock the Aqua Skipper. Also, smooth water helps. We didn't have smooth water on Saturday.

I got to sleep in for a change, then went with Sue Money to get some breakfast. It was very windy out and the waves had some whitecaps. I didn't want the waves/wind to last all weekend but gotta admit, it would be an advantage for me if there were some whitecaps for the swim tomorrow. About two, made the pilgrimmage to the Taco House and got a burrito. Pretty solid. A few hours later, the rest of the crew, including Burrito, The Warrior and his l
ady (Forgot her blog name/or if she had one, so we'll call her the Thundering Herd and Nacho Libre. Dsm911 and his wife (also need a name) came after dinner. Had some appetizers, salmon and 3 beers...and of course dessert.

Race morning, I was up at about 5:30 to get a banana, bagel with PB, and some water. I also wanted to watch Dogman run by as the marathon started at 6, an hour before the tri. Dogman ended up coming in third. He almost caught the second place guy. He rocked a sub 3 hour marathon on a very difficult course.

As for my race, I decided to start off at the front of the pack for the swim, but off to the left/middle. The buoy's were on the right. I took off fairly quick, but not all-out. After about 300 yards, I had moved into the top 10. At the turnaround of the .6 mile swim, I found some feet and hung on for a bit. In hindsight, I probably could have pushed ahead a bit, but I was comfortable where I was at. I ended up with the 6th best swim time. From there, I hopped on my bike and took off hard. The bike was 18 miles long and I ended up averaging just over 24 mph, which I was pretty happy with. As usual however, I had the run left, which is generally my demise. Not this time and not when rocking the speedo. I felt solid the whole run and could have pushed a little more. Hopefully no one was eating breakfast in the window, as they may have not been hungry after seeing this flash of awesomeness run by their home. I cruised it in 7th overall averaging 6:53 per mile. My fastest run.

Towards the right and up a bit, dsm911 is discussing the perfect length for cheese hotdogs. Ms. Badger (Yes, I'm totally unoriginal with the names for those that don't have them), is giving us a little preview of her dance moves that will be utilized later in the evening.

To the left, Burrito rocking the Aqua Skipper. This beast (Aqua Skipper, not Burrito) was a great form of entertainment. Ok, Burrito was also a great form of entertainment.

Below and a little towards the right, Burrito and Dogman during the Brown family domination of
Euchre.

The picture left, princess (we need a tougher name) rocked her first tri. Also, if Calvin Klein would like to contact dsm911 and his abs for modeling, please let me know and I'll pass on the word. Not only is he incredibly chiseled, but he can also tow semi's during a race, as shown above. The picture below is at Captains. No one really knows who these people are, but they kept wanting to hang out with us, but I guess I'm used to it, as is the Boji Tri Team. The Warrior quickly changed his drink to a Bud Light for the picture. I think he was having a Sex on the Beach previously, but if there's a non-manly drink that the Boji Tri Team will have, it's a Pina Colada. So, for those keeping count. Team Drink = Bud Select (pre-race). Team Drink = Goose on the rocks and apparently Jager Bombs (post-race). Team Drink = Pina Colada (non-manly). Also, I fully understand my computer skills lack and the formatting is lame. I'll have some more pictures as well, as they're some good ones, but I need to go to sleep. Overall, It was a great time, great race with great friends. The only thing that could've been better was if Kevin Stokes was in our company, though there was a rumor he was out on the party boat. I welcome the comments about events I didn't include, thoughts on the weekend, etc.

dsm911's abs were not real. I had to spray tan them on before the race. Also, I heard the party bus kicked Stokes off because he was insisting on listening to Celine Dion. There is only so many times one can run to the front of the boat and shout "I'm the king of the world", before it ceases to be funny.

I belive my blog name has been SugarMomma but if the team feels honoring my alma mater is more appropriate, so be it.
It was a fantastic weekend and am looking forward to many more!
