So, Sat. came along and I met up with Nacho Libre in the lovely town of Truro. Successfully made it to the high school parking lot by avoiding the hoodlums in Truro (there's gotta be a bunch there, the town's similar to the Bronx). After the first 15 min. ride we hit the first mile at 6:48. Hurt a bit. 15 minute hard ride again followed by 6:46 mile. 15 minute hard ride followed by 6:35 mile (Nacho Libre rocked 6:27). Those hurt and I was about as dehydrated as you can be, as it was hot and humid. Think orange juice colored whiz. Yep, nice visual there.
On Sunday, I had a 2000 yard swim, so I went to the lovely Blue Heron Lake and went back and forth a few times. Followed that up with a 2 hour zone 2 ride, but it was pretty hard, given the heat/humidity again and that my legs were still a little sore from Kansas on Sun. and I was finishing about 9 hours of workouts this week.
Just over 5 months until Cozumel. Wow. Gonna do some huge training blocks soon I'm thinking.

I'm glad to see that FGLB is carrying the oarsman's labor for the team...what is the status of brurrito and the warrior? When we're talking split times, is the first thought that comes to mind "one banana or two?" Talk amongst yourselves. I am out for the B.M.M.T. this weekend due to MMA duties in Davenport, Iowa.
Are you fighting Frank Shamrock? Dogman, Nacho Libre, myself and the man himself, It's Mister to You! will all be venturing into Emmetsburg on Saturday. I'm hoping for a half hour lead on Dogman or else he'll run me down in the 5k. He's probably going to actually run so fast they'll subtract time.
My status for the Boji tri is in serious doubt. No training to speak of. Thinking about doing the 10k instead.
Best of luck to everyone this weekend at the casino and during the triathlon! Sorry I can't make it to finish last in the swim.
