I had a pretty decent (for me) run workout this evening. Hit the Y treadmill since it was raining. I haven't been doing any faster runs, especially since my injury. I had a 10 minute warm up, which was right around 9:15 pace. From there, I did 4 minutes at 7 min pace. Then, 4 minutes back at 9:15 pace. The next 4 minutes were around 6:56 pace. Back to 9:15 pace. 4 more minutes at 6:50 pace. Back to 9:15 pace. Then, 4 minutes at 6:40 pace. The last 12 minutes, (50 min total workout) were back at 9:15 pace.
This isn't fast for a lot of people, but I"ll take it...especially at this point.

Evidently the people of Minneapolis were so impressed with my performance in the 1 mile, that they have invited me to run the 10 mile race, which takes place the same day as the Twin Cities Marathon. 10 miles is almost twice as long as any run I've done before.
Awesome! I actually did hear Tubby Smith throw your name around during recruiting visits about your mile performance. I have a feeling the Boji Tri Team is starting to build a dynasty. dsm911 is next up for the leadville 100 running race, I believe.
In response to a previous posts about cats, I am guessing I am a Cat 0 since not only do I not own any cats, but I don't like cats at all.
If DSM 911 wins the election, will his name change to Mr. Secretary?
I would candidly appreciate your votes and well-wishes. The name will indeed change should a victory be had.
Is dsm911 getting nervous?
Can we sexually harass the new secretary, as is done in offices all around the world?
I just checked with oddsmakers in Vegas. You can get ten to one that dsm911 will not throw a strike, five to one that he will not get the pitch to the plate and two to one that he will overthrow the catcher.
I'm surprised that with the noteriety of the Boji Tri Team, the odds would be so high for failure... I would encourage MTY! to take all of those bets and use his forty pieces of silver to buy a 60 inch plasma to watch my likeness when I'm bringing the high heat as a member of the NYY's after getting signed 5/22/2009.
